In October, PUE team delivered 9 freezers to customers in Moyamba Junction, Sierra Leone,  under  The “SHE” Project in partnership with CARE (SL) and The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
The SHE Project aims to empower women entrepreneurs to build better livelihoods. It facilitates the leasing of freezers to women entrepreneurs, creating avenues for them to earn more income. Currently the Project targets 7 communities across Sierra Leone. 
Since the beginning of the project in 2019, Energicity has deployed around 200 freezers across our commissioned sites. We expect to distribute an additional 250 freezers to our customers in the coming six months.
Productive use of energy for income-generating activities facilitates the meeting of broader socio-economic goals and we can’t be prouder to witness firsthand the impact in the lives of our customers.
